State what you knew, what you chose, what you withheld, the impact, your responsibility, immediate safeguards, restitution, and how affected people will shape the repair.

I withheld the conflict and removed others’ ability to choose; I will fund the remedy, open the record, and report progress monthly.

The statement cannot erase the harm, but it stops asking intention to do the work of repair.
